What art classes can look like at different ages
18 months to 2.5 years
Sensory play with a parent close by. Colour, texture and messy fun.
3 to 4 years
Short activities in a small group. A gentle first class routine.
5 to 6 years
Line, shape and colour. Drawing basics that build control and confidence.
7 years and up
Technique, skill building and a personal style, including Indian folk art.
The type of class changes with age. Your child’s ability to enjoy art does not. It is never too late to begin.
